The Assembly convenes once a year in September to discuss the development & activities of the Institute.
The Assembly is a think-tank dedicated to nuclear energy education and training. It is summoned upon request of the High-commissioner, the Partners Council, the Experts Committee, or on its own initiative to seek and propose solutions to the national and international challenges faced by nuclear education and training.
Every year, the Assembly is convened to discuss the current and future action plan of I2EN.
The Assembly brings together all the Partners and Associate Members of the Institute.
Any organization—(higher) education institution, industrial corporation, R&D organization, training center—with activities in the field of education, training, and recruitment in nuclear science and technology can apply for an Associate Membership. Membership is subject to acceptance by the Partners Council and signature of the Associate Members Charter.
The Assembly is chaired by the High-commissioner for Atomic Energy.
As of today, 18 Partners and 28 Associate Members sit on the Assembly.
